Quick Question

This may have been brought up during class, but I was wondering how the format of the test was going to be. Are there multiple choice, true/false, short answer, matching?

I was also wondering if we would be required to know all the definitions from the readings.

As I mentioned in class, the exam will consist of scenarios and a question or two related to the scenario. You'll be asked to write a short (sometimes just a few words, sometimes a sentence) answer to the question. There are no multiple choice, true-false, or matching questions. Once again, you do not have to bring a blue book; you'll write on the exam.

You should make sure you know all of the definitions from the lectures and class discussion as well as those from the student midterm questions. As for the reading, I would say that if there is a major concept presented in the reading, it would be worth understanding it enough to explain it -- you would not have to define it word for word.

To post a question on this blog, go to the upper right hand corner and click on new post. That should do it. It's the same way you post of the other class blog.

As for the chapters for the midterm, I don't have my syllabus in front of me. It's whatever chapters I assigned up to and including the ones that cover attention, anxiety and arousal.
